OUR MISSION
The Start to Happy Foundation, Inc. is a 501c3 located in Orange County, Ca. Our mission at The Start to Happy Foundation is to promote and support the mental well-being of individuals and communities. We strive to reduce stigma and increase awareness around mental health issues, as well as provide education, resources, and support for those affected by mental health disorders. Through advocacy, collaboration, and community outreach, we aim to improve access to mental health care and services, and empower individuals to lead fulfilling and productive lives. Our ultimate goal is to create a world where mental health is prioritized, and all individuals are able to live their lives to the fullest.

Our vision is a world where mental health is prioritized, and every individual has access to the resources and support they need to achieve optimal well-being. We envision a society where mental health is destigmatized and treated with the same urgency and importance as physical health. Our nonprofit strives to create a culture of compassion and empathy, where people feel safe and comfortable seeking help for mental health concerns without fear of judgment or discrimination. We believe that everyone should have equal access to affordable, evidence-based mental health care, regardless of their race, gender, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic status. Our ultimate goal is to build a community of empowered individuals who are equipped with the tools and knowledge to prioritize their mental health and live fulfilling lives.
WHAT WE DO
We provide services for individuals, couples, families through counseling, group counseling, workshops, classes, and community events.

Here’s the thing – I do! I’ve been in your shoes and I know where you are coming from; I know the struggle is real and can bring you down. That’s why I want to help you pull yourself together to move forward so you can accomplish all the goals you have set for yourself. Don't have goals or don't know where to start make them? No problem! Society tells us that we need to have a myriad of goals, and most of those goals should be figured out and completed by a certain age. Sounds great in theory, but that's not reality!
What if you could have a place to go to start working on all of the tings you have been struggling with? What if you could do most of it by yourself? What if you had someone there to guide you along the way if you got stuck? Would that work for you?
The Start to Happy Foundation, Inc. is a safe place where mental health professionals will work with you to help pursue your dreams. Pursuing dreams is what we are about!
What would it be like if you could feel genuinely happy? What would you do in your life? Would you take a vacation? Change jobs? Start dating? Go out more often?
One big question is - Why is it that happiness eludes some but not others? The answer would seem that some people are just naturally happier people, but that is not true. Some people have to work at choosing to BE happy! Here's the good news in that sentence - that means that anyone can make a choice to BE happy, including you!
What does it take to be happy? It take a conscious mind to make it happen. That might look like learning how to be still when your mind wants to wander. It could be learning how to journal or use voice notes, especially when it is uncomfortable. And, it could be as simple as learning to smile more during the day. Yes, it's work, but it's so worth it!
Inside of The Start to Happy you will find a multitude of resources to help you learn to become happier and start to overcome some of the challenges that have stopped you in the past.
Are you tired of hearing to just try yoga or working out to improve your mood? While there is scientific evidence to show that working out is an excellent way to help with feelings of low mood, change needs to start before you can get to that point. Learning why it is import to develop healthy habits like eating better and incorporating exercise and mindfulness into your lifestyle is the first step to making the change. Always start with the why! So, yes, positive behaviors are the cornerstone of wellness, and adjusting commitments to exercise and eating well can make an impact towards happiness and reaching your goals.
